What Do You See? I see a man . I see a man on one knee, facing down, carrying a fire on his bare back, with the help of his bare hands. I see a man carrying the torch for generations.    I see a fire . I see a fire burning with twenty years of memories. I see a fire larger than the man himself, but one that relies on the man himself to stay alive. In the man , I see what every brother should be. What every boy should be reborn as when he becomes a Kshatriya. And in the fire , I see what the organization has been.. and what it will be. I see the principles we move by. And when I take a step back,  I see one being . I see a fire and a man that come together as one. They are as indistinguishable, as they are inextinguishable.   What do you see?

What Do You See?

I see a man. I see a man on one knee, facing down, carrying a fire on his bare back, with the help of his bare hands. I see a man carrying the torch for generations.

I see a fire. I see a fire burning with twenty years of memories. I see a fire larger than the man himself, but one that relies on the man himself to stay alive.

In the man, I see what every brother should be. What every boy should be reborn as when he becomes a Kshatriya. And in the fire, I see what the organization has been.. and what it will be. I see the principles we move by.

And when I take a step back, I see one being. I see a fire and a man that come together as one. They are as indistinguishable, as they are inextinguishable.

What do you see?

We looked for leaders…
We looked for those we could call upon when we succumbed to weakness. We were drawn to individuals who exuded talent and we reviled any trace of cowardice.

We sought out those who had the personalities to bring us FORWARD, rather than mentalities that would hold us BACK.

We were attracted to individuals who were more different from us than alike, believing each new link would add to our depth.

We demanded  heart  and were  never  concerned with numbers.

We fought at times with each other… but were always united in public. Knowing true relationships are forged stronger when subjected to periodic struggle rather than if never tested at all.

We resisted the idea of mediocrity and strove to innovate.

Now, many said - “We’ll see how long this will last…” Our response was -

If it dies now, it will die  strong .

Ashok J. Prasad - The Anthem of the Flame

Dr. Ashok J. Prasad, one of the first three members of Iota Nu Delta Fraternity, Inc. shares with us the anthem of the flame where he urges actives to stay the course in being diligent with their academic goals, and re-ignites the fire & passion within the Alumni to remain committed to upholding the mission of the Fraternity.

Congratulations to Krishna Shah, Guardian #27, on his wedding day.

Here he is seen surrounded by his groomsmen, all of whom are brothers of Iota Nu Delta.

The bonds that are created by means of this organization last a lifetime. Our brothers stand aside us in our most significant moments as men. Strangers become friends, and friends become eternal brothers.

 Congratulations to Krishna once more.
