Iota Nu Delta would like to highlight the accomplishments of our alumnus, Misal Panchal.
Misal graduated from Hofstra University's Frank G. Zarb School of Business with a B.B.A. in 2010. While in school, he was heavily involved with the business school's Tax & Accounting Society and volunteered extensively within the South Asian Community, primarily through SAMAR. Following his time at Hofstra, Misal worked in public accounting, providing tax management and accounting services to a variety of individuals and small businesses. In 2015, Misal joined the Connecticut Insurance Department, a state government agency, where he works as an Insurance Examiner in the Financial Regulation unit, which helps ensure companies are financially solvent, competitive, and engage in fair market practices. Earlier this year, Misal became a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut.
In addition to work, Misal is highly active with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), through which he helps provide tax planning and financial advice to low-income families and senior citizens. Misal is also a member of AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
"To my younger brothers in INΔ, whatever you do, do it with passion, integrity, and a big heart." -Misal Panchal
